Healthcare systems in Israel and around the world are collaborating to halt the spread of COVID-19. As the only referral hospital for Northern Israel, Rambam Health Care Campus, at the request of the Ministry of Health, is now converting the Sammy Ofer Fortified Underground Emergency Hospital from a parking garage into the country's largest COVID-19 treatment facility, in order to meet the growing national need for additional, dedicated treatment space.
