67 Rambam Doctors Receive Awards for Teaching Excellence
September 6, 2020 – Doctors from Rambam Health Care Campus were well represented during an awards ceremony for outstanding lecturers at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology’s Ruth & Bruce Rappaport Faculty of Medicine.
During a recent visit to Rambam Health Care Campus by Professor Elon Eisenberg, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the Ruth & Bruce Rappaport Faculty of Medicine at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, certificates of excellence were awarded to 67 outstanding lecturers from Rambam and two of the hospital’s outstanding clinical teaching departments (EEG and Plastic Surgery Department) for the year 2019-2020. The certificates were presented by Professor Eisenberg in the presence of Rambam General Director Dr. Michael Halberthal. Excellence is determined by student feedback throughout the year and based on specific criteria.
The Faculty of Medicine began the tradition of awarding certificates of excellence to its outstanding lecturers several years ago, with the goal being to strengthen the connection between the Faculty and the medical centers and hospitals with which it is affiliated. Excellence is determined by student feedback throughout the year and based on specific criteria.
